I want to talk about why Kikashi wears a mask 24/7.
Ninja wear mask to hid there identity so you can't tell who they are unmasked/and to protect there family identity.

Kikashi supposedly has no one he loves. So who is he protecting wearing the mask?

Um, no. That's fan made. The only thing drawn by Kishi is the partially revealed face on the manga cover. Kishi has said he's probably never going to show Kakashi's face, and that giving him the mask is one of his biggest regrets with the show. Why? Because he doesn't know what to draw under it. He's worried that no matter what he'll piss off some of his fans.

So, no, that link is NOT his face. And NO, I don't think we're going to see it. (I also don't care, I think he looks bad ass with the mask anyways.)

Its not to protect their family, they were assasins, they protected their intent, their owner, and their identity.

Don't use the logic in naruto because no one wears a mask for protection. Beside's, zabuza spotted kakashi the moment he fought. Basically EVERYONE knows of kakashi just from his looks alone. Him wearing the mask is more to hide the sharingan than anything on "protection" of his identity.

No one in naruto hides their identity with a mask. Tobi, for all his mask play, is still tobi. The mask becomes absolutely pointless for disguise when you can associate it with the same person every time.(or he only ever wears the mask).

Just like how anbu only wears the same mask all the time. Which would be cool, except naruto didn't touch on the culture thing there.

Didn't they make a episode in the Regular Naruto series about what Kakashi face looks like.

Why he covers it all the time.. idk. He has no family, and no love ones since everyone he loved died. Sad Kakashi

They did have a filler where Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura tried to see what was under Kakashi's mask. It ends with him being the ultimate troll. He says:

"Oh, you wanted to see what was under my mask? You should have just asked!"

and then he pulls down his mask and there's another one underneath. Which makes sense because, if we did get to see his face, it wouldn't be in a filler...
