As the guy said in the thread linked you linked us to, this has always been possible, there's this thing called packet interception, where you basically send packets from your client to the server. But before you can do this, you have to figure out which packet(s) to send to the server, basically you have to find out which packet(s) do what. It might take a while but when you figure it out it will definitely be worth it.

when u send wrong information to them like add 9999999 ap they can find your ip and find u because its like hacking there server for me if there is 1% chance of risk i prefer to stay away from it

same thing with guns ,euro and anything aeria now is mad they lose alot because of the hackers and when they find someone trying to hack there server sided stuff iam sure they will try there best to find him i think using it in public network is the best solution
