Try the tutorial to find the address. Maybe you have a 32-bit system where it's not possible to use it. I also noticed that it doesn't work on my desktop PC but i don't know why and it seems to work for most of the users.

well, i know i have a 64 bit pc and I know what im doing lol. All i get is an adress with a strange value (8 digit number?) and it does nothing when i change it.

As i was saying before, just try the tutorial to find the address manually:
1.Search for your ingame name RIGHT after AVA has started and successfully loaded (Search for Text(String) and tick the "Unicode" Box).
2.You will get around 2 addresses
3.Change one of the 2 possible names and see if your ingame name changed AFTER joining another channel (If your name changes right after changing it in CE it is the wrong address. In this case just change it back to your real ingame name and try the other address)
4.If you found the right address, right click it and click on "Browse this memory section".
5.Some lines under your name you will see your rank value in the middle of some 00 values(The value must equal to your rank(Ducky = 1, Next Rank = 2...) as "Byte" type(NOT 4byte!!) Click on "Add this address to the list"and change the type to "Byte"). Sometimes there is more than just 1 possible rank address. In this case just try them all and change them back if your rank didn't change (You would have to join any channel before you can see if the hack worked).
I know it's a little bit hard to understand but just PM me if you get any problems while trying this and copy+paste all lines you can see on the screen under your name in the memory viewer in the PM (i mean the 00 00 A3 E1 00 00 ...... Values you can see on the left side of the memory search window).
