Umm...what do u guys mean when a hack is server sided cause i heard god mode, gp hack,and ect. is so idk what it is plz help

when theres an online game its all control from 1 or more computers, when you hack the game, your changing the memory, after your done hacking the game fixes it, or the hack does, but with god mode and gold hacks you can't change the memory for the computer that hosts the game, because you don't change that memory your only changing the memory on your computer, and .welll......the server doesn't listen to your computer.
