OT: Possibly the best choice you have might be to call your ISP (you might be able to do this yourself) and format your firewall with protocols to handle excess (shit I cant remember the name i think its called UTP) so that after a certain point the dos attack will just be dropped (again its been awhile since I looked anything up on a DOS but you should do some research yourself).
