    When I open the Trainer, it says offline and all of that. Do I have to make a new account, buy the game, start all over?

    You opened the game with LaunchIW5M or iw5mp.exe ?
    Works only with iw5mp.dat (LaunchIW5M).
    That said, you can open your LaunchIW5M to make changes, and then return to play on iw5mp.exe.
    If it doesn't work, there is another solution, but more complicated.
