    Writing floats...

    Thanks jorndel

    I am having trouble finding a way to write floats, I have tried writing as bytes, converted integer and all that but no go, I could in 1.9.411 but things must have been fixed.

    Can you point me in the right direction as I have searched this site and many others About Visual Basic, but Still cant get to grips with it.

    I have now over 150 new addresses to use with force host and will post them up when I have finished my project and put them into readable format, I was hoping to finish it tonight

    BitConvert.ToSingle(***) ?

    To write a float.

    Use the WriteBytes
    Code:
    float Flo = 12;

    WriteBytes(0xAddy, new byte[] {(byte)Flo});
    VB: I suppose something like:
    Code:
    Dim Flo As Float = 12

    WriteBytes(&HAddy, New Byte() {(Byte)Flo})
    No Idea, typed from what I remember of VB.net

    Here you go, it's Single and not Float in VB.Net

    X,x

    He got knowledge, he managed to find all the players ammo :|
    That require knowledge.

    +You should NOT judge people by their post, but of their over-all activity. (Means, what they have posted before)

    [Sample: You ask how to write an integer to an byte array. But yo have done other "advance" things. Means, you don't know all aspects of your language]
    How else do you think others learn?

    Not by the: Learn Programming.

    (Would you like that? Don't think so...)
    Sometimes help form other is better, then reading an 800+ page programming book to find an answer to an small thing.
    Yes we do have google, but still.

    No questions, no answers = No Google results. (By far the best thing I said today )

    What?

    And of course asking is better than reading 800+ books.. but for this kinda thing.. basics stuff... just 10 seconds on google and you'd have find out. Faster than writing a post and waiting for answer. Sorry if a somehow offended you.. I'm not in a good mood right now

    No probs, I have googled, I have read through the forums etc, this was my last resort after hours of searching

    I just simply cannot write anything to the jump address other than through cheat engine,

    I do this with FOV and it gives me a stupid result as I write an integer as a float I get around that, I assume because I can write to it in cheat engine it must be writable however I am noob and just unable to write a value to 008A9148 address

    I don't know anything about VisualBasic, but maybe this helps you

    At PureBasic it's very simple, look

    Code:
    WriteProcessMemory_(hProcess,95147436,(at)Newfov.f,4,#NULL)
    hProcess = You should know
    95147436 = FoV Address in decimal
    (at)Newfov.f = Value
    4 = you should know

    I don't know if this helps you^^ Sorry if not

    Wrong, wrong, wrong. If you have a WriteBytes function use it like this:
    Dim value As Single = 1
    WriteBytes(&HYourAddress, BitConverter.GetBytes(value))
