Can Vindictus Check You For Macros?

So I'm back in the game and made a Kai. Pretty unique game play, considering I came from a Lann before I quit. But then, I find that most of the Kai's attacks are SP locked and require shortbow spam to build up said SP. Thing is, button mashing the normal attack key (I have it set to E) really hurts my fingers, and if I change it back to my mouse, I'm afraid it'll break the LMB after I'm done with the game. So I'm wondering, If I use a macro program (maybe Easy Macro Recorder) to set up E key spam as simply holding down the E key, can Vindictus detect me? I mean it would be just like button mashing the E key normally, except in this case I'm using a third-party program to help. I've read that people have been banned for using even simpler macros from gaming mouses/keyboards, how does Nexon even know that they did? Keylogging? If anyone knows about this, or better yet, has been using macros without being detected, care to shed some light on the issue?

Hackshield/Nexon can look at your processes to detect a macro program that's running.. I heard it's illegal of them to do it xD

No, @RiverWind. They can check your active processes, but hackshield will only stop Vindictus if they know a certain active process to be a hack. For instance, my public releases get added to the flag list usually after 1-10 days (ie. "detected"). None of my private stuff has every been detected, because they don't know to add it to the hackshield list.
