Borderlands 2 Item Leveling Script! (Very cool)

Make sure you're following the instructions:

How to use:
1) launch game, load level
2) Open attached CT file, allow LUA run
(if you chose "no to all", now you must press ctrl+alt+L and click "execute script").

3) enable "Change Level", click checkbox, wait a while.
4) change "Desired Level" to your liking. Leave zero, your weapons will get your current level.
5) go back to game, go to inventory menu
6) highlight item, press F2 key, do this for every item you want.
You should hear "beep" sound. Level should change, re-highlight it to see.

7) OK, now move that item(s) to backpack, then equip it again, game engine will recalculate other statistics.

Is it supposed to increase damage and all that, because I can get the level to change, but nothing else does.

Hey, thanks for the find, the tool works great but let's say i want a rifle to be level 80, is there anyway where i could have it lvl 80 stats but still be usable by my lvl 50 toon? I dont know if im missing something here, but any help would be appreciated. Thx

I tried this, it won't work unfortunately. I put my level up to 100, put some equipment up to 100, that stats get blasted as u could imagine, i equipped the stuff, drop my lvl back to 50, than when u mouseover the stuff that you have equipped, it's all red but you have it on you so you can use it. would work like that so long as u dnt take it off.
BUT
this doesn't work cuz after u save n quit and load the game back up, none of that shit is equipped anymore, get's thrown in ur inventory.

basically would need something to modify each piece of equipment to get the stats of higher lvl but with requirement of a lvl 50

yea, it works n all. just that me and tonybear are trying to keep ourselves at lvl 50 but use equipment that's boosted in lvl, or.. at least the stats of the equipment.

in good news...... i hear the lvl cap will get raised so the nice thing about it is that we can keep all our gear, set our lvl to the new max, and than set all our gear to the new max lvl too! ta-da!
so im looking forward to doing that. =D

i think this lvl cap thing is a dlc thing, idk if it's a patch kind of deal

I too am having trouble with this script. When i select the checkbox to enable "change item level," nothing happens. It just selects the field but the checkbox is never checked/enabled. I followed the steps. When I loaded the script initially, I tried both methods of selecting yes to run lua script as well as selecting no and then manually executing the script... Like I said, both methods still do not allow me to enable the script... Am I that much of a newb? I'm sure I am haha Thanks in advance for all the help.

i may sound like an idiot, but what is this lua that you speak of and how do i get this "thing" to do stuff for me?

Helll yeah, this stuff also does not work with me either. I just dowloaded the complete CT which has this script, and it didn't worked. I have Borderlands 2 ^^noSTEAM^^ v1.2 and I don't have any DLC installed. Maybe it's my version of the game... I dunno, but that's opinion... Check it out

I've been trying to use this. First time I tried it worked perfectly. Now every time I try to check the first box Cheat Engine ends up not responding. I've tried with 6.3 and 6.2.
