Of course it's okay for parents to beat there kids. What isn't okay is if the child is too young and is defenceless and isn't answerable for what they did wrong, and it isn't okay if they are on the floor battered and bruised pleading for their parents to stop. I also don't think it's okay for a father to beat his daughter. I know that's biased, but there is a significant difference in strength at play and a girl is always going to come off worse off.

But fuck man if my kid did something stupid and he should know better, or if he disrespects someone after I've educated them about the proper way to conduct oneself, I'd slap him straight across his stupid face.
