They are mainly the same :|

VB - More for tools
C# - More for Programs to do more advance stuff


Visual Studio isn't VB.
It's a coding "platform".

Nothing... pretty much. If someone wants to leech a hack, since the hack doesn't have any link to rival websites or something, is okay. What *should* stop people from doing that is just good sense...

And as Jorndel said, VB and C# are mainly the same thing.. I just hate VB syntax, that's why I said that. You can pretty much do anything that you do on C# using VB and vice versa

Also, if you want to evolve to something like C++, is better use C# cause their syntax are more alike...

Wrong.

If you are to get a job.
And you have to read C++ code or so, To understand what your add-on will do.

With knowledge of just VB.
You will have a hard time understanding the Syntax and so on.


And, I think we who have coded longer than you, we might know this a little better. (Just saying, that we MIGHT...)

U are right C is better as vb but in my opion vb is easier as c :P

Till you're gonna do real programming.
Pascal and delphi have similar syntax to VB but Java and C (and all his dialects) have something similar as well (not to vb).

C++ also gives the option of various other compilers like asm and pascal.

I was thinking that too but then you mostly like wanna just learn C++ (which PWNS .NET)
