If you had read about it last night as soon it was posted you could have sold all your ammies for 5 life:/
at current they are worth 1 life
most wc tops/ uts are selling for 2-3 ammies/ 2 life

That isn't the curse.
The curse is that they will have a chance of failure added to them soon, and in the case of a fail your character gets turned into an AI controlled zombie that will attack other players.

This is confirmed by Kabam and you can even test it on the testing server
