I'm using a test model of a new chipset, I have significantly less hardware than Alen, and my gfx card is out of date in my main PC. I do not have any fans, liquid cooling, or a CD reader burner. Hardly good at all .

I don't want people to think in gloating over something that's not even decent I will e purchasing te A10 though, it's a freakig beast. My one buddy clocked his up to 7.3 GHz with dual cathode transmitters and a voltage booster on an Asus mobo with gold stripping. It's ridiculous

For rendering large models you will want more RAM of course, and a faster processor if you want to do so with absolute ease.

When the Phenom 2 came out I got the biggest there was and wasn't disappointed , but when I got an i7-925 I saw a whole new world of power, Now I am not really familiar with the A8-6-10s since I don't really look much at AMD in total ,but I heard that they do pretty good. Although I can`t find a competitor my CPU (for now). I was once a big AMD fan and ATi as well ,but right after the 6XXX came out I was just horrified of what low class cards they made ,the 7XXX made a come back ,but GTX6XX series just pownd then in the ground. Still the big ones 7950 ,7970 are pretty powerful, I hope ATi comes with some powerhouse 8XXX series or they would just loose the crowd.

Then I recommend constructing yourself an intel i5 based build with high end graphics and at least 16 gigs of ram. Also get a SSD for windows, speedy startup and well worth the price. Get a 2nd opinion from Alen and Lehs.

Go for it, I'm only advising an intel based build because intel is just better overall, especially if you're a hardcore gamer. Once again, I suggest getting a 2nd opinion with someone with significant knowledge in this.

See if you are on a low budget (i.e. 300-500$) , I suggest buying GTX560 Ti or GTX660ti (299$) ,and the RAM isn't expensive at all. Those cards are just pure power , they play everything on MAX

Check your MB specification on how much RAM can that MB support and also check the compatibility list but 8GB should be fine

Also i agree with the person above me... still using a dual core E5600 and playing at 1024x768 is a fucking pain specially in metro where you can most of the time 15 fps in 64p servers :P
