I would say go with the Big Dog GTX 680, but the GTX 660Ti & GTX 670 would do fine also... I have the 4Gb GTX 680...

    Yes the GTX 660Ti 2GB would do great for you, pair it with a 2600k, 3570k, 3770k, Phenom II X4 965 or 3930k and 8Gb of DDR3 1600Mhz, 1866Mhz or 2133Mhz Memory...

I was thinking Intel Core i5-2500K Quad-Core Processor 3.3 GHz 6 MB Cache LGA 1155. Would that still work? I am new at this.

Bull, I burnt out an I5 by clocking it by an extra 1064 MHz. My Athlon X2 has been clocked at 4.2 GHz for two years and still has no issues.

If you're going to spend money of a gfx card, at least get a processor to compliment it. I7 3770 min.

I don't think he'll be overclocking his 2500k if he does he wouldn't want anything more than 4.2Ghz for gaming...
