Change of Stats
If you change your stats, you will NOT be able to connect to online games.
You will be removed from the public leaderboard and will be roll-backed to level 1.
(This is taken from PS3/Xbox 360 notes, so this might NOT apply to PC!)

External Programs
Usage of SOME external programs can cause a ban!
Some have been banned for using external crosshairs.

Regarding to VAC
VAC is loaded on Multiplayer and Zombies, but not on Campaign. Keep in mind this does not mean it is safe to hack on MP or Zombies because of they all have their own anti-cheat running too.

Not Confirmed Notes
Texture Hacking/Modding is against the rules, so this can cause a ban.
Campaign is secure to hack in.

Other Notes
* They have a team of people who work to ban people. (Like BanCandy was in MW3)
So, you never know if you are being watched by they Anti-Cheat Team.

* They are using a server-sided anti-cheat system, called "TAC" (Treyarch Anti-Cheat).

* Your games get's recorded, so if you are to hack. It's easy to prove that you did.
So, that is mostly like what the Anti-Cheat Team will work with along with reports from players.
(So, be aware of your actions! I haven't seen any notes about the option to deactivate it)

Wouldn't be surprised if the same hack will be released again which has allready been used since mw2 through all CoD games
i'm talking about the external ESP hacks in particular.

Just give it a day or 3.. maybe a week and it'll be out again, mark my words.

I think i'll also pass for this CoD.. as the only reason i was going to buy it was so i could rent a server and have my own "hack free" place which i maintain with My rules. But then they came with the great idea for using the matchmaking-fail system.. as told to "prevent hackers"

Jorndel? Could you help me/us with decrypting the config of BO II?

I looked at the link posted.
It dosen't seem like an Config file for me.
The first is the keybinds.
(And that's where the configs was used before. Why not now? :P)


+ I don't think they keep that on your PC anymore.
Due they use a new server-sided anti-cheat system.

And that would mostly like mean that it would check your config file.

I think friends that Black Ops 2 will have way improved (Anti-Cheat System) !!

i used hacks on MW3 for 2 months never got banned,.. then at last i used some force host tool with godmode and didn't succeed in renaming every one player name
then i got banned (VAC MW3 banned).

so today and yesterday i played black ops 2 and today i only used External crosshair [ANY GAME] V1.0 by Fleepster99 that don't modify anything of the game files. but tadaa i am Permently Banned (Message This account has been Permently Banned from playing on the CoD Black Ops II Servers)
and not by abusive language cause then u will be Tempray Banned first.

anyways its my onw fault not want to be offensive. i hope i didn't so far else sorry

but just wanted to warn everyone that i have the feeling to be More carefull now coz i was banned so fast this time with just this little crosshair script.

PB, VAC they're essentiallly the same thing. They both detect changes to game files, as well as scan against a list of known cheats (processes, programs, injectors etc).

so maybe it detected the scripts its procces ?

mmmm with Texturehack you are not running modified version of the game or game profile I think.
It's client side and if texturehack is made perfectly, you are safe.

i've used 3 hacks from various different sources on the bo2 servers and got banned with one of my cd keys i had within a day and a half and i wasn't even raging on the servers or anything ... so look out guys thier watching hahahaha

i have used external crosshair since day of release and no ban yet.. i think im gonna stop using it until people figure out whats going on with this "new anti cheat" system lol
