I opened regedit and the key was 00000000000 any ideas why I cant change it?

I also tried deleting the key file and it says "Unable to delete all specified values"

EDIT Fixed it. I had to change the ownership to my account. I deleted my key then put in a new one with random value and it worked!

I don't know what to do and I really wanna play dayz again! and plus when I delete the key it says unable to delete all specified values, and reading through the other posts I still cant find out how to do it

if your computer has a restore application that restores your pc back to certain dates use that to before when your registry was messed up

I really loved this tool till I got this really weird error. It says "failed to read hex-key from registry Error code: 0 Error message: The operation completed successfully. It strangely works sometimes. It will open for about 15 seconds then if I try to change the key it comes up with another error. Do you think you know a fix. I have tryed EVERYTHING. I've spent a good 8 hours trying to get this to work and dayZ. It just dosen't work. Please, please help me.

Might I ask how exactly you validate the keys and how you check their BattlEye status? What server/service does your program contact to do this? I'm interested in building a web-based application for the same purpose, so that people can see the status of the keys they buy instantly in a keyshop for example.

it neads only a key in ur registry, check it in regedit.
u don't even have to install arma to use darky's key checker, just create Bohemia Interactive Studio/ArmA 2 OA in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE with the KEY in regedit.
