Help on reinstalling after getting banned

So, I got banned. Today, Steam has CO for $15 (wow!) and I decided to cave in and buy myself a new copy. I need to know what exactly to do to make sure my old key is out and I won't be banned as soon as I log in on my new copy.

So far I've deleted both games under the steam common folder, as well as cleaning out the documents folder, as well as cleaning out the registry in :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio


So, does it look like I'm in good shape? Or is there something I'm missing here that I need to clean out? It would be nice to get a response from someone who has been banned and gone through this whole exercise before so they know what they're talking about.

all i did was log in into my new account with arma and start playing

You just need to make a new steam account, only buy Arma 2 OA and then play on the new account. Or else you can buy keys from some from here to $3.
