I got these two pm's today, and an infraction for making a thanks for thanks thread. I'm not mad about it, just can someone explain what an infraction is, and how it will affect me, and when it will wear off? I've never had one on a forum before so yeah...also didn't post this in general cause people *cough* geomatrical *cough* have been making too many useless threads...

Ive gotten a ton of infractions. It's basically like a ticket. Too many tickets and you're going to lose your license (get banned), however the expire after a certain amount of time.

If you get too many active infraction points, you will receive a temporary ban.
