I don't use outdated hacks since its a big risk anyhow but if you make your walls obvious than you will be reported and eventually banned. In your case you probably didnt make it obvious?

Never, tho I pwned a few clan fags yesterday and I didn't even make it obvious. But they were mad and probably reported me. Didn't play this game for 24 hours and just hopped on right now and I wasn't banned. Don't look through walls and such, use a headset if you have one.


One thing that can hide you more from being banned is use the UAV killstreak and use it with hardline. My killstreaks are UAV, Care Package and Hunter Killer.

I only used it one week in a straight row, I did make it a little obvious, but I didn't get banned.. I'm still not sure how their banning system works but I could take a guess that they will review videos of people who have been reported over a number of times such as 15 or 20 in the number of hours, days or weeks, just to make sure that the user is playing legit. It all depends on how long you have hacked, what given point you abused your hacks and if you made it obvious in that period of time

Your VAC status will still be clean, you will just get banned from the Treyarch servers. You will see a message pop up once you connect to on-line services, telling you that this account has been permanently banned. I'm guessing that the in-house game reporting sends a link to the ban-hammer team, tagging the game's demo and the reported player? They then view the demo and decide whether or not that player is cheating in some way???

Play smart and look like a decent player, not a hacker or slayer is the answer. Earning high score streaks is also a sure giveaway. I too only use the UAV, Hunter Killer, Care pack combo. Having a high KDR is yet another sure giveaway, plus getting suspect kills. Especially killing the corner hugger's and camper-noobs. I use EMP grenades a lot, so I get a hit-marker and look less suspect. Scavenger replaces all lethal's and tactical's. so that's an awesome perk to use. Also take some silly deaths and let every enemy player kill ya at least once is best!!!

No, I did not get banned ingame. I just said that I hopped on ingame and I wasn't banned.

Also another question, the best chance of you getting banned is if people report your right? Like is there a chance the treyarch employee's are checking too?
