What would a coder like in their text editors

Well since I've been releasing GSC text editors for a lot of time now I'm wondering what would someone want in their text editor. Well just to take an example this is what I am going to implement:

1. Normal/Simple View (Normal with all the features; Simple is like a notepad for GSC)
2. On-Fly Error Finder
3. Syntax Highlight
4. Auto-Complete (Intellisense)
5. Create/Save/Load Projects
6. Work on projects online with your mates (In real time)
7. Ability to lock the projects with a password

Now this text editor will just be a little piece of what I am going to release, but I can pretty much assure you it's going to be the best tool to modify your gameplay around these parts

Also @Jorndel if you want to help me you're free to come.
So yeah tell me what you would like to see in the editor.

Erm, I don't see the big need for it.

Not that many people used it.
Nor is there many who GSC code now.

It would be nice if we could include languages. not only GSC.
And make it light, so it's more like notepad++.

But then, I think most would stick with Notepad/Notepad++ :S

Notepad++ came out, and was the most advance text program out.

Well, it's like this for all of us, when we first start to use it. And there isn't many other options around.
We stick with what we have.

When we have been using notepad(++) for years, it's "hard" to change to something else.
Because we have worked with notepad(++) for so long, we have "adapted" to the "environment".


So, you can think of it like this:
A person asks you to test two sodas.
The first is the one you love.
The second one is the same one, but different design. (So called "new)

You will mostly like dislike the "new" one, and say the one you love. Is the best.


(I can't really get my point out... Old habits are hard to change... (I suppose))
