Wow, Best Buy can suck my ass.

So, on Sunday (or Saturday, I forgot) I took my laptop in to get it's keyboard fixed. Some things were wrong, and my F9 and F10 keys were broken. Not a big deal, everything worked, but my grandpa offered so it's not like I'm going to say no.

So, I went, and took the laptop in and I requested they took the hard drive out because the Best Buy Geek Squad or w/e said that the repair area goes a no brainer and if you have a warranty they'll fix ANYTHING wrong with the computer, and I didn't want them touching my hard drive. Anyways, so I signed some paperwork, I put in some information, and they said they'll give me a call when it's ready.

I come home, check the phone calls and I get really excited because Best Buy called...
Turns out, this nigga left a message saying that they need me to come back down to fill some more information in. I just called, and I guess all that they need is 3-4 more signatures for liability. GOD DAMN. SO NOW, I GOTTA WAIT MORE FOR IT TO GET FIXED, BECAUSE THE PAST 2-3 DAYS IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN FUCKING SENT IN. WHAT A FUCKING BITCH. SO NOW I GOTTA DRIVE DOWN, SIGN SOME PAPERS, AND I'M DONE AND THEN.. ONLY THEN WILL THEY SEND IT IN.

Well, I do all my gaming on that laptop as of now. My desktop is all I have now, and it's a piece of shit. Literally, I have to run Minecraft on ALL of it's lowest settings just to run "smooth" on this desktop.

I mean, it's not THAT bad, but it's not for gaming whatsoever. The only game I've been playing for the past few days is rotmg cause that's kind of fun, and only thing I can play, lol. I try to play CA, but it lags everytime I'm in a firefight so I get owned.

Well I think my case was a bit worse. I had a 7 month old computer, custom build. After 7 months the 320 euro videocard crashed and I had to send it back, they had to send it back to Asus, Asus supplied them with a new, broken videocard, it took about 2,5 MONTHS to get a new working videocard. Half a week after that, it crashed AGAIN. I still don't have a new videocard.

Well, maybe. I played CF before, but I got bored and it runs fine on my desktop and I know that for sure.

Best buy told my aunt that her hard drive was dead and it would cost $200 to replace.
Best part was that they said that the computer had a virus that would cost $90 to remove.

So you are going to remove a virus on a dead hard drive then trash it?
or are you going to remove a virus on a new hard drive then install an OS on it?

Saw something on the news about how shitty Best Buy is. To summarize they don't know shit and the first thing they always do reformat the hard drive. They did a test and unpluged a wire inside the computer and gave it to Best Buy to figure out whats wrong with it. Best Buy told them they couldn't fix it and they needed to buy a new hard drive for $500. Moral of the story big chain stores are fucking stupid and go to your local store for everything you need.
