My Playstation 3 doesn't read anything any more.

Hey guys I have a quick question! My playstation 3 suddenly stopped reading all my video games and dvd cds! I did a full system restore and my games and dvds are still not being read.. Can someone help me out with this?

A full system restore wouldn't really help. Try getting a lens cleaner.

My cousin had the same thing. We called Sony support and we did everything they told us to, in the end nothing worked. They said the only thing to do was to send it it to get it fixed or repaired.

Which model do you have? Phat, Slim or Super Slim?

Easiest thing to do would be to send it to the pros.

Your blu-ray drive is ruined. You can buy one for $80-ish, or you can send it to Sony support. But they take a long time.

I'd recommend fixing it yourself. If you send it to Sony, then expect a long wait on getting it back.
