Nexons new ban/demote system

This is how I think it works. If you got banned before they put in the report in game feature than thats different.

Basically they banned any blatant hackers, and gave all glitchers 1, I repeat, ONE, chance. If they had 2 pieces of proof against you, you would be demoted. 3 meant banned.

Now, every time the game crashes, it puts a debug and a .dmp file in your Nexon folder. This contains all information about the crash, and it sends it to nexon to look at. This info can contain
a] Which hacks were used
b] If it was your computer that crashed, not the client
c] Why it crashed

Nexon will then base the reports off of your account, the .dmp files, and the GM's ghosting in-game.

Ghosting means: A GameModerator ( or game master) invisibly WATCHING you play in 2 full games. The only way you can see this GM is with an Aimbot, or OPK, where you can see any headgear they are wearing.

I OPKed a GM in 1 game, about 5 days ago. I was INSTANTLY banned, on the spot.

yes, gms hack. No, they are GAME MASTERS.... they can do w/e the f*ck they want. Btw, i just deleted six dump files :O but i think the files arent sent to nexon and if they are they have been doin it for a while cuz they are from months ago.

You can check if they reported you on the forums, but they can report you in game now. When you are reported in game a GM will Ghost you.

Deleting the files does not cause an error, and I am not sure about CAV.
I am also not sure if deleting the files stops them from being uploaded by nexon, so it might be useless....

i think the new reporting thing is a joke but it makes people scared to hack now but i think finally nexon did it they dont allow hacks no more like in the beggining in the new loading screen its scanning your desktop and computer for hacking so u would automatically get d/c

Ive been hacking before and after the last patch and have been reported countless times.

Either I'm too slick to be banned or demoted, or no GM's have followed up on any of the reports.

But Darkstar has a point, there is too great a difference in the GM to player ratio, you would have to be pretty unlucky to get caught hacking by a GM.

it does not make people scared to hack. it makes good people scared to PLAY because they get reported constantly. mods are laughing at this more likely. i have felt this firsthand as whenever i play, i get votekicked by the nubs and mexicans and goddamn brazilians proxying.

Is ghosting like spectating when you get killed in search and destroy or something? Or is this actually like first-person mode kind of spectating? Then it wouldn't be so hard not to get caught if it was the third-person spectating.

lmao i just repacked my files today and took out the debug/junk XD im glad i did =0
also i got baned im maple story due to botting and all of a sudden i lost all my gp in combat arms (12 gp -.- fail lol) also i had a glich
i lved once but my rank did not go up is that cuz i was gliching/hacking or is it just a system glich?

Ghosting allows GM's to walk through walls, fly up, go out of bounds, go ANYWHERE, all completely invisible, and not show up in the TABBED scoreboard (GhostMode, basically, but when that is used, they show up on the scoreboard.

gm's do not ghost you after a singly in-game report, because literally thousands come in every minut. there are simply not enough GM's. they would more likely do it after 10 or 20 reports because so many people are reported by stupid noobs.

GM's ghost you a few days after those reports come in, getting banned can simply be the fact that there are no hacks out, or whether you tap the enemy team.

@ someone who posted something: The .dmp files are sent almost instantaneously, as far as I know, but they cannot determine the account used in the crash.

hmmm i don't think this is true..i been deleting the dump debug files since i been playing ca.........i imagine they could ghost you and watch. but i am still going.
