hmm not bad for a starter. Here's some tips

1. Set your game recorder to 25-30 Frames per seconds. I recommend you to use MSI Afterburner. (not gonna post the link, i'll get banned :b
2. Do not play with the slow-motion / fast-forward options, it will just make your montage messy and irritating( Unless you're doing a dubstep montage which requires velocity change.
3. I recommend using Sony Vegas Pro 10 to Arrange your clips.
( By arranging of clips i meant : Syncing of music, cropping away unwanted parts. )
4. I recommend using Adobe After Effects for video fx.
( Colour corrections, curves, intro, and stuffs like this)
5. Find a more upbeat music instead of the one you used which had a very long slow intro. makes me bored you know.

There's a cracked version on Sony Vegas 32bits.

After effects is more on effects controlling. Vegas has some same effects, but not as controlled manually as AE(After Effects).
AE is only availble for 64 Bits users.
