To downgrade to 32-bit, just get a copy of Win 7 32-bit then install it, but if you want Win 8 I wouldn't suggest installing it at this time cause it's still kinda unstable.

It maxed out your RAM instead on 32 bit it only keep 4 GB ram.

Do not downgrade...very bad plus 64 bit has more advantages(From posts above this one)
Until window 8 looks better and gets more stable, ask others for review.
You should just go with 64-bit. Even though Windows 7 32-bit supports up to 4GB RAM, depending on what hardware is in your computer it may not be able to fully address all your RAM.
