Not sure if this topic is allowed to be discussed....

Obviously the youtube videos of NX generators and all that are fake...but i want to know why it's "impossible" to make a NX generator that can duplicate the keys printed on gamecards/karma coins, as stated by many people?

The serials are automatically generated by some sort of algorithm right? So if someone can crack it, they should be able to generate legit ones. Isn't that how cdkey generators for PC games work?

supposedly the card themselves need to be activated when people buy em so it register with the payment system or some such whachamacalit.

Anyway trying to generate Nx with such method is considered fraud and illegal, I'd say that is a topic we should not discuss here (or anywhere else for that matter)

Ah, i see, if it needs to be activated at the point of purchase, then that's pretty much hack free.

Technically speaking, any game hacks are illegal too.

You run a low risk (if any) of going to jail for hacking in a game, at most you'd face a lawsuit I think. You run a higher risk of going to jail if you manage to create a NX generator or use a real one as you'll be faced with criminal charges.

I don't think you can. It's not like a cd-key.
Those are like phone cards, giftcards and all. You can't just crack the algorithm like a cd-key.
You need to activate the cards when you buy them

One COULD get a job at a store that sells NX cards and manually ring in and activate thousands of dollars worth of cards if you wanted.

Actually nx code generators are very much possible

raid your computer with 100 SSD's and create a program that can generate 7.0880187e+38 or 12 (12 digits per a nx code)^36 (36 characters26+10) possible nx codes.
You must also bypass nexons incorrect nx code lockout. (Locks you out when you incorrectly type a nx code 5 times)

So it would take
lets say Force Series™ GS 360GB SATA 3 6Gb/s Solid-State Hard Drive x100 ($390x100=$39000)

To to get an infinite amount of nx codes and get banned in 10 minutes.

But with this you can also hack into several congress men hotmail accounts +best

This would also make a large amount of ppl rage on the vindictus forums

Yeah, it will work if you try a code that's bought and activated in store but not yet used/redeemed.

So yeah, it's even worst because you will steal from little kids and all, not like using a cd-key to play a game from a company already making millions.
