i take that back, they do ban you for restricted tags

I played a few games, was on chat for quite some time, and I was perfectly fine.
then i starting swearing and trolling people on chat and that's how i got banned.

so i don't think they don't actually ban you because of your summoner tag, at least not from what I experienced.

I had forgotten I posted this haha. I'm glad that some of you found out how to do it. And yes, my "riot hack" account is banned, so better don't use the exploit for Riot tags.
About the guys PMing me - I'm not selling my method. Also don't PM me since I'm not very active on this site obviously as you can see.
You should check out evo85210's thread, he seems to have found another method to bypass the filter.

btw I don't know why this got moved to guides section and added a [tutorial] tag by mods since it's neither one, just some info I though could be useful.
