yea stupid and the reason they didnt send the rest of the spartan army was because the farm workers they had at home were all slaves and they didn't want a rebellion while the whole army was gone so thats why only 300 went, and they actually did manage to kill a couple thousand Persians

Great movie, and they could continue it because at the end it shows that the man with one eye was narrating the whole story to the soldiers going off to war again... so WOOT WOOT, THIS IS SPARTA
