Could we start focusing on newer operating systems?

I do realize that there are still alot of older windows xp users, but for god's sake, Upgrade Please!
if your still on windows vista... your making a fucking mistake. all I got to say.
windows 7 is amazing. just didn't come with the laptop (and not paying $200? or something to downgrade.)
Windows 8 is having a hard time with these hacks, with most of them not working.
I just think that as we more forward with features and stuff, I believe we should also invest more into the newer
Operating systems. I had no choice windows 8 was preloaded on my laptop.

windows 8 is by far the best OS i've ever used. Its so fast and its basically the same as windows 7 in desktop mode. I didn't think I would like it this much. Good thing I didn't reformat my new laptop and put 7. I'm enjoying this great OS. I'd recommend people to upgrade and try it before saying its bad. I watched the previews and thought it was gonna be bad too, but once you get it and get the hang of things theres no going back.

I have a newer laptop so that might have a role, But I am receiving about 120fps (received about 80fps on slightly older laptop). just a $600 laptop too, not like a gaming computer at all. windows 8 has cool features, it's just it changed to quick for anyone to really get a feel for it. you just have to mess around with it, and then if you really don't like it try to downgrade. My key features i hate: no start button, the whole app store crap, and left and right hidden bars that sometimes switch the screen if you slide your finger weird.
