sure you give him the ip, you can set the ip in the server config...

Depends. You need to really give us more information. Are you using hamachi, or are you just creating your server on your computer without any other programs?

Hello

If you are using Hamachi, copy your IPV4 address and send it to him.If he still cant connect turn off your fire wall and he should be able to join then.
If you are not using Hamachi you will need to port forward like i have done.Search youtube for a tutorial or even search google.

Are you giving him your internal IP by accident?

i gave my friend the ip address. is that need my real ip address or the hamachi? i tried to change the server address to something but it say cannot reach server. so my friend feel the same like i do. then i was put my hamachi IP address but he cant conect to my server.

What message does it say when he tries to join your server?
Also, learn how to portforward, and head to whatsmyip.net <--- Get your IP
