Look around for some of the raffles, and enter and hope you get lucky. Most people won't give a free key just like that, especially because we just got hit with some ban waves.

Raffles all over the general section, you can buy CD keys as cheap as $1.25 USD.
Nobody's gonna give you a key for begging.
And especially don't expect a free key after a ban wave.

I agree, I've even seen someone sell them for .50 cents once.
