Well, lets see, I'm 18 now and had been smoking it since I was 12. Yea, there have been times when I went through withdrawal and it was fairly uncomfortable but I got ever it in 1.5 days tops. Yes, I said 36 hours and that was after smoking 7-8 joints worth of OG Kush everyday in a PIPE...so yes, I had my times, but I can never say its addictive, I still do it yes but psychological addiction? For a week tops withdrawal, physiology addiction? 36 hours. So yes, nothing there either. Mental illness? Actually, if anything, marijuana helped me get over my social anxiety (which was so bad I barely went outside and feared even school). Benefit there. My depression? It never actually stopped it 100% and it only started back when my parents decided I fucked my brain up from it and put me on antidepressants. Stopped two cold-turkey and now I am messed up. BUT marijuana didn't cause it. Those shit-pills I was on did.

Goes to show you, I prefer nature over man-made. I'm even better now and smoked it up till a few hours ago. Never been better (y)

For me marijuana is addective, also some teens may feel they need marijuana and other drugs to help them escape from problems at home, at school, or with friends, but it won't help to escape from problems just they can only fall into depression.
At least i don't like marijuana and smoking, so this kind of staff for me and not good for health, Anyway this is my opinion, I do not care how you take it in you mind.

Your opinion is not fact. This is the Debate Forum, not "POST YOUR OPINION HERE". If a child is going to "use" Marijuana to "escape his/her problems", then that child has issues that must be addressed before a counselor. People use food to escape their problems. So by your logic, that should be illegal as well. Stop spouting stupid ideals.
