What are crosshair hacks?

Can anyone tell me what it does?

PROBABLY is the crosshair that allways stays in the middle of the screen so u can have an better chances firing SR without zoom....and to make it easy to spray after your normal crosshair is too wide with AR or SMG or whatever...

*its can be just red dot.... type reddot in google and i think u find it.....its used in cs too....

@Kiwi, a crosshair HACK is a crosshair for the gun that always stays on your screen, regardless of conditions that would cause it to go away without the hack (Jumping/running in some games causes the crosshair to disapear entirely).
