Pascal programming question

Hello, in about 1 hour I will go to a Pascal programming competition. I have some questions --> How do I check if a string contains uppercase/lowercase letters? And how do I count them? How do I convert them in uppercase? (I know that lowercase(variable); converts them to lowercase)

And something else that would help me : Can anyone list some basic stuff I need to know? I didn't have a lot of time to study so I am trying to get as much information as I can before I go

okay I have found that you can test the lowercase/appercase by testing the ASCII codes. How about the rest of the questions? And any advice?
