Call Of Duty 5 problem. Sorry a little off topic :/

Hey guys recently (it was my birthday yesterday) and I got Call Of Duty 5 for my computer. I installed it and started to play Campaign mode. I quit after the first 3 minutes of gameplay... It lagged very bad. I have a great Computer and I even used the Sticky thread: Lag Elimanator. So I don't get ripped off of 50 Dollars do you guys ahve any suggestions on how to reduce lag?

Here is the lay down of my comp and the second set of stats are the requirements. Thanks guys.

    My Computer :
    Vista
Processor: AMD Phenom 8400 Triple-Core processor 2.1 Ghz
    Hard Drive Space:320 GB
    Ram: 4 GB
    Video Card: Nvidia Geforce 8200

    Call Of Duty 5 Requirments:
    Windows Vista/XP
AMD 64 3200 Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz or better
8 GB free hard Drive space/ 1GB ram vista
256 MB Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT

I think my main problem is the fact i might not have enough Ghz since even though I have a triple core processor I only hvae 2.1 So really I have 2.1 times 3 processors. So why cant i play without major lag?

I will thank every1 who gives me USEFUL information

and sorry about the wrong section but since more people prolly know about this stuff then on any other seciton i put it here.

    THANKS

All i can say is this:

    1. Turn off shadows in the graphics options, this is proven to increase performence greatly

    2. Lower anti-aliasing to 2x or turn if off completely. You may experiance some aliasing (duh :P) but it will decrease lag

    3. Try lowering your screen resolution. This can help greatly, but don't set it too low, things might start to get pixilated.

    4. Like DarknessInc said, you'll want to upgrade you video card(s) and all other hardware, if necessary.

All my buds say i'm really good with computers, so take my word for it
