Prevent running arma 2 OA through steam

I want to change my key and play wasteland
I can change my key and play dayz through dayz commander
But that way i can't play wasteland
So when i launch arma 2 oa through explorer, then steam loads up and it changes my key to my original key
How do i stop this from happening?

My bad, just had to run it through C:/program files/steam/steamapps/common/arma 2 operation arrowhead

Load up Commander. Hit 'Settings' and uncheck "launch through Steam"
