Not really, their motives are basically the same, it's for their brother.

And Naruto and the First resemble each other because they're bad ass as fuck.

Midara vs Sasuke's brother is entirely different. Just because they HAVE a brother doesn't mean they have similar motives.

Naruto and first are similar, but the first is more of an adult/mature than naruto is yet.

I don't wan't to see Sauske and Naruto repeat.

Even though its not the exact same since (Le explaination)
Naruto and Sauske both lost their family and went in different directions.

Something must have happened to Hashi past for it to rival the N/S story line.



And the story must end up differently than the Hashi/Mada story (even though its not technically finished), lending me to believe....the only way for the story to end up differently is Naruto must lose to Sauske, and their need to be another time skip.

I think naruto's as badass as say......ichigo from bleach. He's only really cool when the fox takes over(hollow) and overrall he goes through too much inner-dialogue to be considered a bad-ass in his own right. Not to mention he isn't a ohko person or calm/collected type, and he isn't a rage-mode type either like Asura or such.
