Is There a Cheaper but still good?!

ok guys im looking for a processor for the ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS (ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Newegg.com), because the AMD Phenom II X4 is too expensive for me atm, is there a cheaper processor that i can get for under $60 ? my primary goal is to at least be able to play bf3 in normal-medium Settings.. and if possible a cheaper GPU Under $60 too??

Well for CPUs there is this AMD Athlon II X3 and this other AMD Athlon II X4. Though my honest advice is save up some money and get the Phenom II X4.

As for a cheaper GPU, well, the ASUS Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 should fare pretty well against "normal"/medium BF3 (and a reasonable resolution). The card is $85.66 after the rebate and shipping cost, but, here's a GIGABYTE GV-R667D3-1GI Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 for $55.97 after rebate and shipping cost.

I would personally choose the Asus GPU, but I don't know if GDDR5 memory is worth the extra $30. As for CPU, did you decide to stick with the Phenom II X4 or?

I decided to stick with the AMD Athlon II X3, but im sure i will upgrade to the Phenom II X4, later on in the future.
