Help me find this damn component

Alright, awhile back I had watched a YouTube video where this guy built a custom PC inside of an old Xbox Debug case, and he used a component that brought up a GUI when the OC started of a boot menu to select between Windows, OSX, or Linux. I don't want to run a virtual server, I do t want the standard menu when you simply partition your hard drive, I don't want boot camp or any of that shot, I want to know what this component is.

If you don't know or are just trying to +1 your posts I will report you. I am pissed off from trying to find this fucking thing.

are you trying to say the guy partitioned his xbox hdd and has an os installed on the hdd and has a menu for boot options "xbox or os ect?" or did he build a pc inside an xbox case? sorry not trying to upset you any more than you already are i just need to be clear on what you are trying to do so i can help
build is my bread and butter so i should be of some help

are you talking about this "OS Xbox Pro" its called efiX try expresshd. blah hope this is what you mean if so 2 easy bro
and i dont know if you actually need this there are other ways to manage the boot menu besides this

It was the EfiX thanks. And he built a PC using the Xbox Debug console as a case (the slightly larger and clear Xbox, not the 360). He was sponsored by Newegg but I couldn't find the video.

all good i used to work for hp and asus as a repair tech so this was second nature to me glad i could help btw thats is a cool project ... i would search htpc slimline kits and parts for a build like this if i tried it .

I'm basically trying to boot Windows 7 an OSX (hackintosh). I'm using the build mostly for music. I'm definitely looking at Grub 2 as my bootloader but if I can find anything better (graphically I'm all for it).

this is one video on it there are lots i htink there are some custom windows ones two if the machine you are building is intel i dont see why you would not just vm >? i have a dual boot but that is a just in case my os fucks up

this is what i use // i have had osx/ 7 x 32 times 1 and win 7 x64 times 2 and umbuntu as a multi boot before umbunto is the tricky one if ever you go to remove it research this trust me "install linux in with win7 on a secondary partion to be safe "
do not install it on the main part !!! and stay clear of windows 8 it will fuck up youur boot loader for sure "it is garbage "
hackintosh can be a pain to get all worked out drivers will be an issue on some things !!! best of luck update the status of this very cool project please!!!
