Are you referring to mosin or M40? Mosin has a default one zoom, low zoom scope while M40 has basically every scope to choose from.

I'M TALKING ABOUT PUBS HERE.

Currently, the best sniper rifle (overall) is M40A5. The great one hit kill rate (across all ranges), perfect moveshot, little sway, insane reload speed and ROF combined together are pure awesomity for the pubs. The scope speed is riduculous, same for the switch speed. Practically a straight upgrade from DSR-1 and almost a straight (it lacks the ROF which the Silver Arrow can pump out with it's totally demonic switch and zoom speed) upgrade from the AP Capsule weapon Silver Arrow.

The FR-F2 is better than the M40A5, because it has a better one hit kill rate, sadly, the FR-F2 lacks the ROF, DPS and moveshot of the M40A5. It's a great weapon, but definitely not better than M40A5 for pubs.

The TPG-1 is great, it has the most reliable one hit kill rate and penetration, sadly, you'll need to play like a real sniper, you can't moveshot, spam high damage bullets etc. TPG-1 is still the best sniper rifle for competitive gameplay, along with FR-F2.



I'd say: get FR-F2 if you want to play competitive, but also in pubs, TPG-1 if you're staying on the competitive side and M40A5 if you're playing in pubs/Match.

UGH, you guys are stupid.
M40a5 is the best sniper hands down, fast quickswitch,98% OHK rate,fast quickscope,fast reload, moveshot,noscope ability and wallbang ability.
If you're going for the fr f2 use the SHARPSHOOTER SCOPE not the quickscope because the sharpshooter scope is faster AND it has a double phase zoom. Also use the mag replacement and the long range barrel. The asw is also really good (IMO asw>fr f2) but still, the m40a5 is the best scope ingame.

Oh and eehm pgm>tpg (don't use the high powered scope on the pgm btw, it's WAY 2 slow)

And another thing: AP snipers. M40a5>everything, kar98k sucks because it tags alot,mosin is for fun because the zoom is really low and it has a slow reload (Again, m40a5 is better) silver arrow is like a sv98 but with a higher OHK rate and tpg epko zooms in way 2 much.
