According to Televi Magazine, the TV anime of Fairy Tail was announced to end on March 30th. Tanken Driland will be moved to the Saturday morning time slot. hahahaha

I'm not really a fan of FT or Bleach, but I have friends who are big fans, so it's always funny to hear them get cancelled and rub them in their faces. :P

(Especially in the case of Bleach, since it got replaced by a shitty Naruto spin off! >: D)

Well bleach had one more arc, and at the current time of cancellation it would have gone into filler. They finished with the fullbring and it was actually pretty decent animation. It was a smart decision as bleach was becoming more like naruto(having wacky fillers) and it making more fillers for the sake of the current arc would be unwise anyway. Even though it is the final arc, the Aizen arc can be a legit ending as well. You could actually make all of bleach's ending up till now in one OVA if you had to.

Fairy tail isn't One Piece. It doesn't contain the adventure or comedy that its rivals have(making lots of viewers) and can't really pull endorsements like Toriko. The average viewer is probably the same viewer of pokemon or such shows, and fairy tail doesn't have merchandise to compete.(which is why pokemon can still go on forever).

I watched the first 20 episodes of Fairy Tail last week and I enjoyed it..
Sucks that it is cancelled but maybe my opinion would of changed after 100 episodes?
