I don't know why EA is going for all the bling bling with graphics. Sim City 4 graphics were perfectly fine. I mean, if this is just a city simulator you don't need bloom lighting and dynamic shadows. It's just a city simulator. What I'd prefer is more features, like more vehicles, first person walking through the city, fun stuff.

Even if you wanted to try it, it's not likely. Apparently, most simulation calculations are done server-side, a la Diablo 3. What a coincidence, a beloved series with the next title to come out many years later only to turn out to be the worst in the series.
