    Wrong. Using tutorials as a reference gets you more familiar with the tools.
    Once you get a hang of things you don't really need them anymore.
    But I strongly recommend them for beginners.

    Yea , maybe for learning the basics. I see way to much people wich just watch tutorials ans dont think of anything to do without tutorials! Tutorials can help , that's true.

    Bump out of curiosity. Not good at drawing irl at all, never really doodled and my handwriting is appalling, is there any hope for me at this point to actually learn?

    I'm good at drawing. I seen RJ post some cool as pop out stuff back in the day and that kind of got me in to PS never really got good with it but I quit in like 2010.

    Whenever I started, I downloaded photoshop and kinda learned from it. I then progressed into watching some youtube tutorials which helped alot.
