Overclocking help

Should learn to manually overclock.
Usually the Auto OC will run higher voltages.

Yeah on my pc when I tried it just to see what voltage it would give it gave me 1.8 on a phenom II. Shit was running at 70 degrees just from booting

Best option OP. Just go into your BIOS, and there will be a huge button that says "CLICK HERE TO OVERCLOCK YOUR PC"

And thats a very simple overclock. You probably wont get too much more than a 10% OC there. Look at the video posted above to see how to get any real power out of overclocking.

And OP probably isnt looking for such a low OC. Hence why he pretty much went straight from 2.3 to 4.2GHz.
