Desktop of course. It's far more upgradeable than a laptop.
Laptop .
Desktop .
I wouldn't buy a laptop over a desktop just because you want to take it around to play with your friends. Just think of how much time you use your computer at home and how much you would use a laptop with your friends and decide from there. Personally after using a laptop hooked up with keyboard, mouse + monitor for a year or two then unplugging it the next day for school i would defiantly go for a desktop.
Desktop of course. It's far more upgradeable than a laptop.
Well, we are not considering 1 things... if he's a nerd and play CA a lot of time, probably is better a laptop because CA is not a game with high requirements.
Or the energy consume will be very high in a desktop PC running a lot of time each day....
(Sorry for bad english, anyway I already voted for desktop...)
I got my desktop for really cheap compared to what I could have gotten for the same price if I get a laptop. I have a i7-3770 Intel Processor 3.4GHz with turbo boost goes to 3.9GHz, 16GB of ram, GeForce GTX 660, all of that for only $900. For a laptop I would have got way less
Better had gotten the desktop
A customised desktop. Unless you weigh portability over the gaming experience i suggest laptop then!
Get a custom built computer, or a custom factory built gaming laptop (like alienware). Those are really the only things you can game with, GTX 550TI+ in the PC, GTX680M in the laptop (if you can) or next best. That's my only advice.
Edit: Oh, I see he already bought the PC, this is still sort of useful advice.
Desktop cause you can put all this shit inside it and never have to go outside again!
