Either get a custom built PC tower, or if you really want to stick to laptops, try looking at Asus pr Acer laps, cuz from what I noticed they are the ones that make better laptops for lower prices generally.

You can build a swegging desktop for $1000. If you go a little higher, you can overkill it. As laptops go, you could just get a $600-700 Asus laptop.
