The programs that you download won't be allowed to make changes to your data or programs. So it'll stop the viruses and tool-bars.

Maybe it denies changes to system but it still can take data
so if there was a ad with a file that stole all your passwords and it was ran in sandboxie it would still take all your passwords since it just reads but dont write or modify

I just did offers where it asks you to download things. The only one I know of that works perfectly every time is the visualbee offer, but that is only 147 ACs

It just doesn't seem to work.

Whenever I try using offers with HotSpot shield ON (Matonomy), I always get the message that I had suspicious account activity e.t.c and I have to try again in 24 hours. Once I turn it off, it starts working again, but I only get the crappy 100 AC offers from the UK...

Sandboxie allows you to download things from the offers without the "Virus" it carries. So basically, you need to do and download offer(s) to your computer. Sandboxie doesn't complete a s-u-r-v-e-y or an offer by itself. It only helps you by preventing viruses getting in your system. So therefore, this method works. For hotspot, I have no clue how to use it ...I've never even used it!
