I have pyro and also have some pretty good weapons and I personally think it depends on the enhancements not so much the weapon the weapon just makes you look like a badass lol

7 is the top i guess not sure myself

and thats 7 is i think a 0.0000001 chance of being sucessfully landed

i have wizard and luck and a known weapon i don't give name

and i give to every crit 6k dmg

and rare 7 k

To get 7k luck needs Full Luck. However, this is the max that Pyromancer can get. I use 1 Luck + 3 Wizard and get about 2.5k crit max, but the other skills are more effective.

I get averages of 1000 on non-crit and about 4-5k on a cit with full luck. I'm only a lv.41 so is this big?

I quoted your original post and was pointing out that potions can raise the overall damage. I never said that you had used potions.

7k is a rare for pyromancer, but it's nothing compared to Evolved Shaman and their 100k + Damage.

Check first which weapon you are using and it's weapon range to know if what weapon type is best : Static, Stable, Medium, Unstable.
