So recently I installed my first SSD and it works beautifully. However, when I first installed it, it only showed up on the BIOS setup and not in the Windows Computer configuration. So I thought perhaps a quick tutorial on how to find/use your second+ HDD/SSD.
1. Make sure your SSD/HDD is correctly installed and check via the BIOS setup. (On boot-up, you will be prompted with a screen according to your Motherboard manufacturer and will show you a display of keys to do certain functions, look for the BIOS one. In my case I was using an Asus so it was DELETE)
2. Hit the Start button and right-click 'Computer' and click Manage (You will need administrator access).
3. After the window has popped-up, hit 'Storage' and 'Disk Management'
4. Now at the bottom you will see a small window and here are your drives. (SSD + HDD) The second+ SSD/HDD should be labelled with the words: 'Unallocated'.
5. Right-click and hit: 'New Simple Volume'.
7. Simply run through the wizard customizing as you like and after a short time-period, Windows has detected and you can now use your second+ SSD/HDD!
