Lighting is so off. lol

Not really.. The lighting is coming from behind him.. i thought it would be cool to put the lightsource on the right by his leg.. but didn;t go well with the smudging so i said fuck it anyways

It is though.
The render has light sources coming from directly behind him, subtly in front of him, and lightly on his sides. You put a global light in the bottom right corner which doesn't explain the lighting on his left side, shoulders or head. With the placing of your light source, those places would technically be shadowed.
